In continuity has been proposed appropriate flood protection measure to reduce damage. The economic effectiveness of the measures was carried out and other documentation required for the underlimit tender of the project was elaborated. In the conclusion of the diploma thesis there is another possible use of the diploma thesis.
Savci jako škůdci na ovocných dřevinách a v sadech
Benešová, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the negative impact of wild mammals on fruit trees and orchards. The main aim is to find out which mammal species are harmful to fruit trees and what types of damage they cause. Based on the literature, it is then possible to derive solutions to effectively protect against this damage. In addition, a questionnaire survey can also be used to address the problem. Damage to fruit trees is most common from rodents (Rodentia), even-toed ungulates (Artiodactyla) and hares (Lagomorpha). Several important factors influence the impact of these mammals on fruit trees. Rodents cause the most damage at times of peak abundance, so regular monitoring is needed. Currently, there is a growing interest in biological control of mammals, where no chemical products are used. However, due to its immediate result and ease of application, chemical control still prevails.
Aplikace kontrolních metod v managementu populací srnce obecného (Capreolus capreolus) a muflona (Ovis musimon) v honitnách Školního lesního podniku Křtiny
Zbořilová, Irena
The aim of the thesis is the application and evaluation of control methods in terms of game damage, analysis of back-calculation and differences in counted numbers and reported hunting on the basis of hunting statistics carried out for the given period in the overhead hunting area of the University enterprise Masaryk Forest in Křtiny. The evaluation of the control and comparison plots together with the forest inventory showed significant damage, which was then confirmed by the results of underestimated counts in several years and ever-increasing hunting plans. Based on the results obtained, a harvest proposal was developed and the use of an operational inventory with a combination of control and comparison plots was recommended for long-term monitoring to observe population trends in terms of damage.
Vliv potravní nabídky lesního prostředí na distribuci zvěře a působené škody
Kessler, Tomáš
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the effect of wildlife damage on forested seedlings in relation to the productivity of the habitat in which they are located. The first part of the thesis is focused on the general assessment of the effect of game on the forest environment and the amount of damage caused. The second part presents the results, which were collected in the field on several selected habitats and then evaluated according to the given fertility. In the last part of the paper, suggestions are given for measures to minimize or completely prevent this damage.
Hlodavci jako škůdci na zemědělské produkci
Vargová, Michaela
The thesis critically evaluates the existing knowledge on the importance of rodents as an important pests of agricultural crops. The main part of this thesis, i.e. the literature review, focuses on a brief description of the damage caused by rodents in the global context, and subsequently in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on the possible causes of this damage. Furthermore, the thesis mentions rodent species and their distribution according to food consumption, followed by a description of economic and sanitary damage. The thesis also mentions preventive measures against rodents, monitoring, methods of damage control and their economic impact. The thesis concludes by mentioning possible gaps in knowledge of the impact of annual crops on damage levels and potential alternative options for rodent damage control.
Chroust maďalový (Melolontha hippocastani F.) – hospodářský význam a možnosti eliminace škod v gradačním území LS Strážnice
Opavský, Tomáš
The aim of this work was to evaluate the amount of damage caused by the grubs of forest cockchafer. The damage was assessed in relation to the habitat conditions of the mining and cultivation practices. The pilot plant treatment of Actara 25 WG and Force 1.5 G was evaluated for efficacy against 2nd and 3rd grub instars. A methodical design of aerial intervention to inhibit the forest cockchafer during the 2019 swarming was drawn up. When evaluating the amount of damage, 59,233 pieces of seedlings were checked in 2017. The pilot plant treatment was applied to 4 473 pieces of seedlings and the application was carried out in seven different variants on three districts of the Forestry Administration in Strážnice. The average amount of damage caused by the infestation of forest cockchafer grubs in the Forestry Administration in 2016–2018 is 36%. The Actara 25 WG applied by irrigation was evaluated as the most efficient variant during pilot plant treatment. Based on the vegetation inspection and the extent of the damaged area, an aerial intervention was proposed in two variants to inhibit the forest cockchafer swarming in 2019.
Velké šelmy na Moravě a jejich vliv na chov hospodářských zvířat
Dzurja, Jan
This work brings an overview of the informations about an occurrence of the large carnivores in our country. Except data from the Czech republic, I have tried to mention a knowledge from the foreign authors about the occurrence of the large carnivores in other european countries. Among other things I have been dealing with a food preferences of the large carnivores in a relation to a livestock. I also focused on the damages done by the large carnivores to the livestock at recent time in the Czech republic and abroad. I have evaluated an influence of the large carnivores to a livestock farming and I mentioned the preventive measures which could reduce the damages done by the large carnivores to the livestock. I have used a lot of czech and foreign professional literature to obtain the necessary informations. To these informations I have added the acquired data from my field monitoring and from my questionnaire. I have found that the large carnivores gradually comes back to a central Europe and to the Czech republic too. With their return there is an increase of the damages in the livestock farming. However in our country these damages are not so high for now. With right use of the preventive measures these damages could be even lower. Unfortunately some farmers do not want to implement the preventive measures even it is dotaded by a state. The farmers have various reasons but certainly there is always especially a problem with a complexity of the process leading to the dotation. The acquired data and the knowledge lead to the clear conclusion. There is a need to educate the farmers and a public about the large carnivores problematics. Also a simplification of the process of getting the dotation on the preventive measures could be helpfull.

Reserving in Non-Life Insurance
Těšínský, Jiří ; Gerthofer, Michal (advisor) ; Zimmermann, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with reserving issues in non-life insurance. The main aim is to compare methods used to estimate outstanding claims reserves and delineate their advantages, disadvantages, extensions and limitations. Initially, in the theoretical section, there are mathematically formulated chosen models and their assumptions, which are then applied to real data in the practical section. Finally, the findings acquired from both parts are utilized for the comparison of applicability of methods and the identification of their further distinctions and commonalities.
Výskyt nutrie říční a psíka mývalovitého v oblasti východních Čech
KOPŘIVA, Jan
The subject of this thesis was evaluation current status of the two species of fur animals, Coypu and Raccoon Dog in eastern Bohemia, in the Pardubice Region and the Hradec Kralove Region. Now Coypu otter and Raccoon Dogs occur in the region of eastern Bohemia. Raccoon Dog does not live only in the immediate vicinity of the water. Coypu lives directly on the water and the water is bound. If an option, so the earliest peoples larger flows. Also it prefers warmer areas. It occurs to 400 meters above sea level. Populations of both species of these invasive species of fur animals in the study area are growing. In the Hradec Kralove Region populations of both species are more numerous than in the Pardubice Region. Repeatedly been identified direct damage caused by the Coypu grazing crops. Further erodes the banks and dikes. Currently occurs in eastern Bohemia to 2,700 individuals Coypu and 900 individuals Raccoon Dog. Over the last five years was recorded increase in the number of both populations of those species about 100%.
